JAEGGLI, AN HISTORY LASTING OVER 160 YEARS

2008

JAEGGLI-MECCANOTESSILE, in very strict technical and technological cooperation with REGGIANI MACCHINE SpA (part of group FI.IND. HOLDING SpA), launches the innovative hanks mercerizing machine model EXTENSA with technologically advanced solutions and new electronics by Siemens, besides the further improvements of the basic project and the drastic simplification of the electronic control and set-up system applied to the machine.
The re-engineering concerns the whole range of JAEGGLI products as the robotized loaders new model ALS, the new standing device to measure the real hanks size model HD and also the automatic unit for soda preparation and recycling model ECO-BLOCK onto which have been introduced important innovations as the new electronic system for the constant control of the soda concentration, top important parameter for a quality mercerisation, and the integration with a new air-chiller model ECO-CHILLER

2007

JAEGGLI-MECCANOTESSILE consolidates all its offices and structure together with REGGIANI MACCHINE GROUP and conveys all its R&D activities and technical and technological support to the customers in the new industrial plant located in Grassobbio nearby the Bergamo-Orio airport. The immediate result is the big efficiency improvement of the whole operative structure

2005

JAEGGLI-MECCANOTESSILE takes over the Swiss project of the compact all-in-one unit for preparation and recycle of the soda mercerizing lye model ECO-BLOCK by Merc-Control AG and transfers completely the production in its own workshops in Italy

2003

JAEGGLI-MECCANOTESSILE at ITMA exhibition in Birmingham (UK) launches the new hanks mercerizer model HL-2000X which represents a further step forward in the process technology thanks to the introduction of the new "fixed tanks" system; also the new automatic loaders model ALS-2000X are improved with the motion of translation by belt and with the fixation of the two optional units to the frame of the same mercerising machine HL-2000X

2002

JAEGGLI-MECCANOTESSILE re-engineers the continuous yarn mercerizing line model MC-2000 equipping the machine with full electronic control applying all the technological innovations studied and developed on the base of the previous productive experiences. The MC-2000 is finally destined to revolutionize the way of mercerizing, establishing a valid and simple alternative for all the cotton spinning mills willing to enter the yarns added-value finishing sector

1999

Agreement between JAEGGLI-MECCANOTESSILE Srl and REGGIANI MACCHINE SpA (Bergamo, Italy), world leader in the traditional and digital textile print sector, solely for the manufacturing of the mercerizing machines. Design, technological development, commercialisation and technical after-sale service remains completely to JAEGGLI-MECCANOTESSILE

1997

The technological progress is actually extended also to the hanks mercerizing machines with the design and launch, at ITMA Paris (F), of the new machine model HL-2000, now available with computer-based electronic control of the process by means of PC+PLC, further to the improvement of the environmental conditions thanks to the introduction of the cycle into a closed and sucked out machine; moreover the automatic hanks loaders model ALS-2000 are completely re-designed

1995

JAEGGLI-MECCANOTESSILE studies an innovative technology for the continuous mercerisation of the yarns and then it is engineered and realized the new productive line mod. MC-2000 integrated afterwards by a new patented system for simultaneous beam-to-cones rewinding model RS-2000. The new continuous line, specifically studied for big spinning mills and vertical-integrated plants, is introduced to the market and then the first brand-new productive plants with this revolutionary technology are set-up in Italy and in Germany/England too

1985

Agreement and merge between MECCANOTESSILE (Como,Italy) and JAEGGLI (Winthertur,Swiss). From this merge were born the following Companies: JAEGGLI-MECCANOTESSILE Srl (Como, Italy) JAEGGLI-MECCANOTESSILE Ag (Winthertur, Switzerland) The new hanks mercerizing machine model AS40/7 with automatic hanks loading system model CARGO is successfully launched onto the markets

1969

Ending of the twisting mill with boost and development of the activity of designing and construction of the mercerising machines and supply of complete plants for the cotton yarns mercerization

1920

The workshop of this twisting mill started the production of machines suitable for the mercerization of the cotton yarns, at first for internal use only but later also for the market

1842

STAHEL and JAEGGLI lay the foundation of a cotton twisting mill in Winthertur (CH) for the process and production of mercerised threads for sewing and embroidery
